Beauty Is Here – The City Limits

Timelapse – The City Limits

You are looking at the cities of Montreal, Toronto, Quebec, Manhattan and Chicago from late 2010 into 2011. The film ‘The City Limits’ was made by Quebec City “motion photographer” Dominic Boudreault. He calls himself a motion photographer because he attempts to show the beauty and speed of the world we live in. The video shows the duality of the built and natural environments and achieves this through the vibrancy and scale (temporal and physical) of its images. It shows the city streets swimming in light and the open skies swirling; the city afloat in light pollution and the countryside bathed in starlight. We wanted to find something to kick this week off and to make this Monday a little special. The film is perfect for the start of this week. Showing us the beauty in something so familiar should help in finding beauty all around us in our everyday lives.
